About Rift Fighter

You type combat sequences on your keyboard to fight off waves of enemies in Rift Fighter. Instead of choosing attacks from a menu, you execute techniques by pressing specific key combinations in order—Charge might be J followed by K, while more powerful moves require longer strings. Manuals drop from elite monsters and bosses, teaching you new sequences to add to your repertoire. A bar at the bottom of the screen tracks your progress through each combo, so you always know which key comes next.

The challenge comes from memorizing your techniques and typing them accurately under pressure as hordes close in. Poki Games hosts this survivors-like that rewards fast fingers and pattern recognition. The more sequences you master, the more tools you have to thin the ranks and stay alive.
