About Hotshift

Hotshift gives you control over a single button that determines both your height and your temperature. Hold the button to rise and glow hot orange; release it to drop and cool to icy blue. Your path forward is blocked by color-coded gates: orange barriers only open when you're burning hot, while blue gates demand you stay cold. The puzzle lies in reconciling contradictions—reaching high areas while staying cold, or diving low while keeping your heat.

Every level on Poki Games challenges you to thread through tighter combinations of gates, forcing you to time your presses and releases with precision. Success depends on planning your thermal state several moves ahead and mastering the rhythm of heating and cooling as you navigate vertical mazes.
