About Hot Barrel Cats

Hot Barrel Cats puts you in charge of a wall defense where feline sharpshooters hold the line against an invading fungus horde called the Mildews. You station cats along the ramparts and watch them open fire automatically, but every shot they take builds up heat inside their barrel. When a cat's internal temperature maxes out, it jams and stops shooting until you pull it down to the spawn zone to cool off. The goal is to stop the Mildews from reaching your gate across sixteen hand-crafted levels, earning up to three stars on each by keeping your defenses tight.

What keeps things tense is the merge mechanic: drag one cat onto its identical twin to combine them into a higher tier that starts completely cool, turning a desperate swap into an instant upgrade. You'll face boss Mildews on levels eight, twelve and sixteen that attack your heat reserves instead of your gate's health, forcing you to rotate cats even faster. Between waves you spend coins at the café on permanent perks, claim daily bonuses and work toward achievements.
