About Europe at War

You take command of a nation in 1936 and plot its course through the looming Second World War. Europe at War divides the continent into 369 separate regions on a detailed hex map. Each turn spans one month. You click your territories to muster armies, spend gold to erect factories and barracks, research new military doctrines, and either negotiate alliances or issue declarations of war through the diplomacy screen. Troops carry an energy reserve that drains with each movement or assault, so planning your offensives matters.

Victory arrives in three flavors: steamroll every region by force, unify the map under a web of peaceful alliances, or construct an economic juggernaut of twelve factories. Managing your treasury is vital because gold flows in from controlled land and industrial sites, funding your next wave of recruitment.
